Key Highlights
Samsung finally launched the Galaxy S25 FE last month, and at first glance it looks like a subtle step up from the S24 FE — the same 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display and similar camera setup. But spend some time with the phone and you’ll notice where Samsung quietly pushes the boundaries: a slightly larger battery, noticeably faster charging, a more capable SoC, and a sleeker, more premium design. It may seem minor on paper, but together these upgrades make the Galaxy S25 FE feel more refined than its predecessor. Design-wise, Samsung now offers five devices in the S25 series, and the S25 FE smartly fills the middle ground. It shares the same dimensions and display size as the S25 Plus and even resembles the S25 Edge, though not as slim. The crisp 1080×2340 Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth viewing, and while it isn’t as sharp as the Plus model, brightness peaks at 1900 nits — great for outdoor content consumption. For Indian users who enjoy streaming on the go, this display hits the sweet spot. The Fan Edition identity continues here: flagship-like perks at a more digestible price. It’s the first S-series phone to ship with One UI 8 out of the box, features an elegant metal-and-glass build with IP68 certification, and sports stereo speakers that sound genuinely premium. Under the hood, the Exynos 2400 with Xclipse 940 GPU delivers strong day-to-day and gaming performance, though it still trails Qualcomm and MediaTek in efficiency. The 4900mAh battery comfortably lasts a day and charges quickly with 45W wired support and 25W wireless charging. Camera quality remains a major win — the 50MP GN3 main sensor and 8MP 3x telephoto lens with hybrid OIS offer sharp daylight and low-light shots, even if the 12MP ultra-wide isn’t as impressive. No microSD expansion may disappoint some, but storage options up to 512GB help soften the blow. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE stands just a step away from true flagship territory. It isn’t perfect, but for the price, design, performance, cameras, and software support make it an excellent value — and absolutely a worthwhile upgrade for S24 FE users.
